What's an 'at fault' claim?

The term ‘at fault claim’ doesn't relate to the cause of the incident, but to the policy from which the claim was paid. For example, if your car’s stolen, or you’re the victim of a bump in a car park and can't identify the culprit, then these incidents would still be classed as ‘at fault’ even though you weren't responsible for the incident.
