My device hasn't been fitted yet - am I still covered by my General Accident insurance policy?

If you are sent a self installed device then as long as this is fitted to your vehicle within 7 days of your policy start date, then you will be covered by your General Accident insurance policy. If the device is not fitted to your vehicle within 7 days of your policy start date then we will cancel your policy and cancellation fees will apply. We will always write to you giving you 7 days notice that we are cancelling your policy to allow you to arrange cover elsewhere.

If you are asked to arrange an appointment for a professionally installed device then as long as this is fitted to your vehicle within 14 days of your policy start date, then you will be covered by your General Accident insurance policy. If the device is not fitted to your vehicle within 14 days of your policy start date then we will cancel your policy and cancellation fees will apply. We will always write to you giving you 7 days notice that we are cancelling your policy to allow you to arrange cover elsewhere.
