Although braking is an important part of calculating your telematics score, it is not the only factor and your driving score will be determined from analysing all factors from your journey.
Gentle braking is greatly preferred but we know that this is not always possible especially in an emergency situation. Consistent harsh braking will lower your score significantly over a period of time.
