What does Increased Personal Accident cover include?

As standard our Comprehensive insurance provides you, your partner and named drivers with £2,500 of Personal Accident cover each. Personal Accident cover pays out if you lose a limb, your sight, your hearing or in the event of death following a car accident.

If you have a Comprehensive policy, you can increase the level of protection if you choose our optional Increased Personal Accident cover. Our optional cover will pay an additional £60,000 or £120,000 per insured person for loss of limb, irrecoverable of sight, loss of hearing or death. In addition, it provides up to £500 per insured person for minor injuries following a car accident.

Unfortunately this cover is not available if you have a Third Party Fire and Theft policy.

If you have Increased personal accident cover, the limits will be shown on your policy schedule.

You can add on Increased Personal Accident cover by following the steps below:

  • Log into your My account (opens in a new window).
  • Scroll down to "My policies" section
  • Find insurance policy you wish to change and select "Change policy"
  • Go to 'Change or add cover'
