Yes, you can drive your car in Europe and abroad.
If you have Comprehensive car insurance with us, then you also have Comprehensive cover to drive in most European countries, so long as your vehicle is normally kept in Great Britain or the Isle of Man.
If you have Third Party Fire and Theft car insurance with us, and your vehicle is normally kept in Great Britain or the Isle of Man, then you have Third Party Fire and Theft cover to drive in most European countries.
You can travel for up to 180 days in a policy year – but no single trip can be longer than 90 days.
You don't have to let us know, get a cover note from us, or amend your policy in any way before your trip.
However, please take your Certificate of Insurance with you. To download this, log in to My Account and go to the 'Documents' section.

EEA countries not in the EU: Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway
Other countries: Andorra, Serbia, Switzerland, Bosnia & Herzegovina
British Overseas Territory: Gibraltar
You can also add breakdown cover as an optional extra, so you’re covered in both Europe and the UK.
